Southern Lantern Studios' feature film project, titled 'MOTHER MAYBE,' is set to be directed and written by Sonny Calvento, with co-writing by Arden Rod B. Condez, has received three awards, including the top prize—the TAICCA & CNC Award for Best Project—at the recently concluded 文化內容策進院 Taiwan Creative Content Agency pitching event. It's produced by Sheron Dayoc and Arden Rod Condez, with co-producers Weijie Lai (Singapore) and Stefano Centini (Taiwan).
MOTHER MAYBE AWARDS
TAICCA & CNC Award for Best Project
A cash prize of 30,000 USD. In addition, the CNC (Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée) will ensure the promotion of the project among French industry professionals through concrete support actions.
TAICHUNG ACTION AWARD
A cash prize of 300,000 NTD and the potential to shoot in the Central Taiwan Film Studios (what a dream!)
MPA Grand Award
Sponsored by Motion Picture Association(MPA). One selected project will be invited to participate in the Global Film and TV Immersion Program 2024 in Los Angeles.
